Registered Nurse Care
- Assessment of condition, vital signs, blood pressure, cardiac and
breathing status
- Wound care and change dressing after surgery
- Set up and instruct on medications
- Skin and nail care
- IV therapy and medications
- Education on ostomy care, diabetes, disease processes, health maintenance
- Instruct families on care
- Keep your physician informed of your progress
- Pain management
- Assist new diabetics with diet, blood monitoring, insulin injections
- Coordinate all necessary services
- Arrange for needed equipment
Physical Therapy
- In-home evaluation
- In-home exercise and treatment program

Homemaker services are also available through a coordinating effort of
Scotland Home Health and the Department of Social Services. A social
worker will come to your home to evaluate what services you may need and/or
