Dr. Melissa Bartling, family practice, joined our staff in 2006. Dr. Bartling focuses on a wide variety of family healthcare issues and performs as the medical director of Scotland Good Samaritan Center as well.
Brandi D. Pravecek, CNP Brandi Pracecek, who was born and raised in Menno, SD, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Scotland Medical Center. She is a graduate of the Master of Science Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner program at South Dakota State University. Before joining Landmann-Jumgman Memorial Hospital/Avera Health, Brandi worked as Certified Nurse Practitioner at the Sioux Valley Clinic/Surgical Associates. She has also worked as a Nursing Instructor at SDSU as well as a Registered Nurse at Lewis & Clark Health Education & Service Agency and at St. Michael’s Hospital in Tyndall, SD.

Dr. Kynan C. Trail, MD Dr. Kynan Trail is a general surgeon who sees patients at the Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital on a monthly basis. His special interest are in varicose vein surgery, carotid artery disease, sclerosis of spider veins, and lower extremity revascularization. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with Distinction. Dr. Trail completed his residency at the Summa Health Systems, Akron, OH.
Dr. George R. Fournier, Jr., M.D. Dr. Fournier, Jr., MD, is a board-certified urologist who provides outreach services at the Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fournier is from the Yankton Medical Clinic and specializes in urology. He received his education from American University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, CA and earned his post-residency from the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Veterans Affairs M.C. in San Francisco, CA. He is Board Certified in Urology.

Dr.Anwarul Haq, MD Anwarul Haq, M.D., Oncologist/Hematologist, earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Master of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry at Karachi University, Karachi, Pakistan. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the State University Of New York, Albany, NY and a Diploma in Medicine and Surgery from Universedad Del Noreste, Tampico, Mexico. Dr. Haq completed a Clerkship in Surgery and Medicine at St. Clare’s Hospital, Manhattan, NY. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Brookdale Hospital and Medicine Center in Brooklyn, NY; and his Fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at Maimondes Hospital and Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Haq is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is Board Eligible in Oncology and Hematology. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of New York.
Dr. Thomas Tuohy, D.P.M Dr. Thomas Tuohy, Doctor or Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.), sees patients at the hospital on a monthly basis. Dr. Tuohy has practiced as a Staff Podiatrist at St. Joseph Hospital, Omaha, NE; Rosebud Indian Health Service Hospital, Rosebud SD; and at the Eagle Butte Indian Health Service Hospital. He graduated from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland Ohio and completed his residency at the VA Medical Center, Chillocothe, Ohio
